Open for Business!

On Monday, April 27, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott announced that Texas will begin allowing businesses to reopen on Friday, May 1, 2020, with restaurants falling into that category. This means that the Dixie Chicken and The Chicken Oil Company will be opening in accordance with the Governor’s regulations.

Here are our guidelines and how you can help:

• We’re only allowed to open up to 25% capacity and will be first come, first served basis.
• Meal orders will be taken by wait staff at your table.
• Pool tables at the Dixie Chicken will be open to parties of no more than 4 people.
• No tables of more than 6 people.
• If we have reached capacity, don’t worry, the Dixie Chicken and The Chicken Oil Company will continue to provide call in to-go orders.
